Please join the Bellaire/Braeswood Democrats for an exciting evening with guest speaker Charles Kuffner with “Off the Kuff”.  Charles will offer a post Midterm General Election analysis, and discuss what we might expect in 2020.  We will also be celebrating the great voter turnout in Harris County, the many accomplishments made by our Democratic candidates, and the hard work put in by all!

Please join the Bellaire/Braeswood Democrats on Monday, October 22nd to hear an important presentation by Americans United for Separation of Church and State, Houston Chapter – George S. Tallichet.  Mr. Tallichet will discuss the Johnson Amendment – a provision in federal tax code that protects the integrity of tax-exempt organizations, including houses of worship, by ensuring they do not endorse or oppose political candidates.  

Please arrive at 6pm for the “Dutch treat” dinner social portion of our meeting.  Announcements will begin at 6:45pm with program beginning promptly at 7pm.

August 13 Meeting

Please join Bellaire/Braeswood Democrats for our August meeting, which will be an interactive “Precinct by Precinct G.O.T.V. Workshop”, where you’ll have the opportunity to learn about, and volunteer for various rolls and activities planned in your precinct to get out the vote.
NOW is the time to join in and make an impact between now and Election Day, November 6, 2018.
Harris County Democratic Party will also be announcing the rollout of the Fall G.O.T.V. initiative.  Light food and drinks will be provided.

from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Bellaire/Braeswood Democrats will have a meeting on Monday, April 9, 2018, 6:00 pm, at Hickory Pit Barbeque,
6601 S Rice Ave, Bellaire TX 77401.

Our guest speaker will be Raymundo “Ray” Beltran, III, Community Engagement Manager for Baker Ripley (formerly Neighborhood Centers).  Baker Ripley connects low-income families and individuals to opportunity,
so they can achieve the life they’ve imagined.  Ray’s work includes development of community leaders within the Houston community, as well as voter outreach strategies that seek to engage low propensity voters in the electoral process.

Please arrive at 6:00 pm for a “Dutch Treat” dinner and drinks with the group.   We anticipate that the presentation will begin by 6:45 pm, and end around 8:00 pm.
